UAB Medicine's Emergency Department at UAB Hospital in Alabama is expanding and hiring nurses to join a large, high-volume team. The role emphasizes using the nursing process to assess and care for patients, coordinating with physicians and the health team across a wide range of conditions.

Qualificações

• 3 years or more of nursing experience preferred.
• 2+ years of experience preferred in psychiatric nursing, psychiatric emergency nursing, or correctional nursing.
• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program required.

Responsabilidades

• To utilize the nursing process to care and/or counsel individuals in the promotion and maintenance of health and the prevention of illness and injury.
• To delegate, coordinate and manage all aspects of nursing care provided to the patient, their family and our community in a timely and cost-effective manner.
