UAB Medicine's Emergency Department at UAB Hospital in Alabama is expanding, hiring additional team members for one of the nation's largest EDs with 115+ treatment and triage spaces and a new 30-bed inpatient observation unit.

As a nurse on our ED team, you will apply the nursing process to promote health, collaborate with physicians and other clinicians, and deliver skilled care in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of nursing experience preferred.
• 2+ years of psychiatric or ED/correctional nursing preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program; Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.
• Current Alabama RN license or eligibility required.
• BLS certification required or to be obtained within 30 days.
• ACLS and/or PALS may be required depending on unit.

Responsabilidades

• Utilize the nursing process to care for patients and counsel on health promotion and disease prevention.
• Apply the AACN Synergy Model to identify patient needs and plan care.
• Delegate, coordinate and manage all aspects of nursing care with the health care team.
• Deliver patient care in collaboration with patients, families and clinicians.
