Job summary

This role supports the ER during nights and evenings, with a 40-hour workweek. Prior medical office experience and customer service skills are essential, with opportunities to grow within Sanford Health’s broad network.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a medical setting preferred.
• Medical terminology knowledge helpful; strong communication required.
• BLS certification may be required for some locations.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, verify demographics and collect/route documents.
• Coordinate scheduling, referrals, pre-authorization, and reminders.
• Handle patient check-in/out, multi-line inquiries, and queue resolution.
• Support patient financial coordination and document management.
