Jacksonville ER & Hospital, LLC is seeking a Patient Service Representative to support efficient emergency center operations. You will greet patients, collect demographics, process registrations and schedule updates, and handle payments with accuracy while upholding confidentiality and patient safety standards.

The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, experience with EMR systems, and a commitment to a welcoming, compliant frontline environment in a busy ER setting.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Patient Access Representative role within a Hospital, ER, or Clinic.
• Previous experience in medical registration, admitting, and scheduling in an ER setting is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Front Desk Operations: Greet patients, direct services, collect demographics, ensure signatures for billing accuracy, log patient information, handle phone inquiries professionally, keep a welcoming environment.
• Financial Responsibilities: Collect payments for co-pays and balances, maintain ledger, perform daily reconciliation.
• Facility Cleanliness: Keep patient areas and restrooms clean and orderly.
• Communication Skills: Interact courteously with patients, families, physicians, and team members, uphold center values.
• Professional Development: Attend monthly staff meetings and participate in performance improvement.
• Other Duties: Assist management with additional tasks or projects as assigned.
