Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as Patient Access/PSR in a hospital, ER, or clinic.
• Experience with medical registration, admitting and scheduling in an ER setting is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Front desk operations: greet patients, determine services, collect demographics, collect signatures for billing, log patient information, manage inquiries, and maintain supplies.
• Financial responsibilities: collect payments (cash, checks, credit card) for co-pays and balances; reconcile patient accounts.
• Facility cleanliness: help maintain cleanliness of the facility, including patient areas and restrooms.
• Communication: interact courteously with patients, families, physicians, and team members.
• Professional development: attend monthly staff meetings and engage in performance improvement activities.
• Other duties: assist management with additional tasks or projects as assigned.
