CHRISTUS Health in Texas is seeking a compassionate RN for per diem shifts in the Emergency and related units. You will provide routine and complex care, using the nursing process and collaborating with the healthcare team to meet patient treatment plans.

This role requires flexibility to work 7PM-7AM and across multiple units, with opportunities to develop skills in Med-Surg and Telemetry, and to educate patients and families while upholding safety and quality standards.

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
Minimum 2 years of combined Emergency Department and another specialty.
RN license in the state of employment or a compact license required.
BLS, ACLS mandatory; TNCC in Texas/NM; PALS within 30 days.

Mansioni

Provide nursing care using the nursing process with assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation.
Administer medications and treatments; monitor for side effects and effectiveness.
Document patient history, symptoms, medications and care given.
Educate patients and families; identify learning needs and provide resources.
