Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years combined experience in MedSurg and Telemetry.
• 5 years of experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Meets expectations for flexiblity of assignment within the ministry.
• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Administers medications and treatments per protocol; monitors for side-effects and effectiveness.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given.
• Educates patients and families on care needs and resources.
