Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of combined Emergency Department and another specialty experience.
• 5 years of experience preferred.
• RN license in state of employment or compact license.
• BLS, ACLS required; TNCC in TX/NM only; PALS within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process for assigned patients.
• Administer medications and treatments; monitor for side-effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members and caregivers.
• Delegate assignments to other care providers to manage clinical situations.
