Job summary

Atrium Health Ballantyne Emergency Department in Charlotte, NC is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform CT procedures per department protocols. You will operate CT scanners, manage contrast administration, ensure patient safety and accurate documentation.

The role requires ARRT radiology or NMTCB certification, BLS, and ability to handle high-volume, fast-paced emergencies. This PRN, part-time position offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated radiology team in a state-of-the-art ED

Qualifications

• ARRT radiology or NMTCB certification is required.
• BLS certification required.
• Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine program.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT scanners and related equipment per protocol.
• Prepares and administers IV contrast following safety guidelines.
• Ensures patient identification, explains procedures, and documents in medical records.
• Rotates shifts as required, including call back, holidays, and weekends.
