Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and ARRT CT within one year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners and related equipment per protocols.
• Verify orders with Radiologist before exams.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and explain procedures.
• Prepare patients and document on worksheets; interview for history.
• Review EMRs for pertinent clinical history and correlate results.
• Administer IV contrast as per department protocols and record usage.
• Maintain image quality and consult Radiologist as needed.
• Rotate shifts and participate in on-call, holidays, and weekends.
