Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform CT procedures, operate scanners, and ensure patient safety per departmental protocols. The role requires ARRT CT within one year of hire and BLS, with PRN/part-time hours and variable schedule in the Charlotte area.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, verifying orders, coordinating with Radiologists, and maintaining radiation safety and equipment.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and advanced registry from the ARRT in CT within one year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders on each assigned patient.
• Refers and questions orders to the Radiologist before performing exam.
• Properly identify patients and assist them while explaining procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures and document accordingly.
• Perform CT scanning and assist Radiologist/PA during invasive procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and radiation safety practices.
• Rotate shifts including call back, holidays, and weekends.
