Job summary

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required; CT registry within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders with Radiologist before performing exam.
• Identify patient using two identifiers and explain procedures.
• Review patient EMR for clinical history and document requisitions.
• Manage exam from start to final dictated results.
• Prepare/ administer IV contrast per protocol; record type and amount.
• Evaluate image quality and consult Radiologist for anomalies.
• Provide basic patient care; monitor and assist during emergencies.
• Operate radiology computer system; document contrast usage in MAR.
• Maintain clean, stocked work area and assist during invasive procedures.
