Job summary

Atrium Health Lake Norman is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform CT procedures per department protocol and maintain patient safety. You will operate CT scanners, manage contrast administration, and collaborate with Radiologists to ensure high-quality imaging.

This role is part-time/PRN with variable scheduling. Experience in radiology, CT imaging, and adherence to radiation safety is required, along with ARRT certification and an appropriate CT registry within the first year of hire.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine; CT registry within one year of hire.
• BLS certification is required.
• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine program.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners and related equipment.
• Provide patient care and comfort during procedures.
• Prepare and administer IV contrast per protocol.
• Ensure radiation safety and proper documentation of procedures.
• Collaborate with Radiologists and nursing staff during exams.
• Maintain accurate patient records and equipment cleanliness.
