Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a part-time CT Technologist I to operate CT scanners and related equipment in the Ballantyne Emergency Department, a facility of Atrium Health Pineville. The role requires ARRT or NMTCB certification within one year, and BLS.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, administering IV contrast, and collaborating with Radiologists while working variable PRN shifts, including call backs, holidays, and weekends.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and BLS required, within 1 year of hire.
• Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development appropriate to patient population.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT scanners and associated equipment with proficiency.
• Identify patients and prepare them, explain procedures, and document on worksheets.
• Administer IV contrast per protocols and record details.
• Rotate shifts and participate in on-call, holidays, and weekend coverage.
