Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a Part-time CT Technologist I for Carolinas Medical Center. You will operate CT scanners and related equipment per departmental protocols, with emphasis on safety and patient care.

Responsibilities include verifying orders, preparing patients, reviewing medical histories in EMR, and coordinating with Radiologists. ARRT certification and BLS are required; PRN, variable schedule, and commitment to quality imaging are expected.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development.
• Practices radiation safety and safety procedures.
• Communicates effectively with Radiologist and team.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders with Radiologist and clarify discrepancies.
• Identify patients and explain procedures; prepare patient.
• Review medical history in EMR to obtain pertinent information.
• Operate CT scanners and related equipment; document procedures.
• Rotate shifts and adhere to attendance policies.
