Job summary

KIPP Public Schools Northern California seeks a dedicated Math Teacher to design engaging lessons, use data to guide instruction, and foster a joyful, inclusive classroom. The role integrates Social Emotional Learning and Restorative Practices to support every student’s growth.

Collaborating with Leadership Teams and an Instructional Coach, you will receive ongoing coaching through weekly meetings and feedback to strengthen your practice. This is a full-time position at our school sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution (required).
• Hold a valid teaching credential in the subject or be eligible for permit (CPR certification prerequisite).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement daily and long-term lesson plans aligned with KIPP's academic vision.
• Analyze student data regularly to inform instruction and support student growth.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and rigorous classroom environment grounded in Restorative Practices and SEL.
• Use culturally responsive classroom management strategies to ensure safety, belonging, and high expectations for all students.
• Communicate proactively with families, colleagues, and leaders to build strong partnerships.
• Engage fully in weekly professional development and Communities of Practice.
• Maintain accurate and timely records, including attendance, grades, and behavior data.
