Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution (required).
• Meet eligibility requirements: valid teaching credential or eligible for a General Education Limited Assignment Permit, Provisional Internship Permit, or Short Term Staff Permit ( CPR certification by American Heart Association or American Red Cross is a prerequisite for this permit).
• Demonstrated commitment to equity and anti-racism in teaching.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement daily and long-term lesson plans aligned with KIPP’s academic vision.
• Analyze student data regularly to inform instruction and support student growth.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and rigorous classroom environment grounded in Restorative Practices and SEL.
• Use culturally responsive classroom management strategies to ensure safety, belonging, and high expectations for all students.
• Communicate proactively with families, colleagues, and leaders to build strong partnerships.
• Engage fully in weekly professional development and Communities of Practice.
• Maintain accurate and timely records, including attendance, grades, and behavior data.
