Job summary

KIPP Public Schools Northern California is seeking a dedicated teacher to bring to life rigorous academics and joyful learning across our diverse student community in Oakland and neighboring areas.

You will design lessons, analyze data, and implement Social Emotional Learning and Restorative Practices to foster an inclusive classroom culture while collaborating with the Leadership Team and Instructional Coach.

Qualifications

• Experience as an educator teaching students with similar demographics to our KIPP Public Schools Northern California student community.
• Hold a regionally accredited B.A./B.S. degree.
• Eligibility: valid teaching credential or provisional internship permit or short-term staff permit.

Responsibilities

• Teach with purpose: design daily lessons and data-informed instruction incorporating SEL and restorative practices.
• Collaborate with Leadership Team and Instructional Coach to support student learning and growth.
• Commit to anti-racist practices and ongoing self-reflection to improve school systems, culture, and equity.
