Job summary

KIPP Public Schools Northern California is seeking a dedicated Math Teacher to design engaging lessons and use data to guide instruction. You will integrate Social Emotional Learning and Restorative Practices to build a joyful, inclusive, and safe classroom community.

Collaborate with Leadership Team and Instructional Coach to grow your teaching practice, while upholding anti-racist, culturally responsive teaching. This full-time role is on-site across our CA school sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• Valid teaching credential or eligibility for permit with CPR prerequisite.
• Eligibility requirements include Special permits as described in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement daily and long-term lesson plans aligned with KIPP's academic vision
• Analyze student data regularly to inform instruction and support student growth
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and rigorous classroom environment grounded in Restorative Practices and SEL
• Use culturally responsive classroom management to ensure safety, belonging, and high expectations
• Communicate proactively with families, colleagues, and leaders to build strong partnerships
• Engage fully in weekly professional development and Communities of Practice
• Maintain accurate records, including attendance, grades, and behavior data
