Job summary

KIPP Public Schools Northern California is seeking dedicated teachers for full-time roles in Oakland. You will design engaging lessons, use data to guide instruction, and integrate Social Emotional Learning and Restorative Practices to create a joyful, inclusive classroom where every student learns and thrives.

Collaborate with the Leadership Team and Instructional Coach to strengthen teaching practices, participate in weekly professional development, and uphold equity commitments across KIPP

Qualifications

• Develop and deliver engaging lessons aligned to school vision.
• Use student data to inform instruction and support growth.
• Commit to equity, anti-racism, and culturally responsive teaching.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement daily and long-term lesson plans aligned with KIPP’s academic vision.
• Analyze student data regularly to inform instruction and support student growth.
• Foster an inclusive, rigorous classroom using Restorative Practices and SEL.
• Communicate proactively with families and colleagues.
• Engage in weekly professional development and Communities of Practice.
• Maintain accurate records (attendance, grades, behavior).
