Job summary

KIPP Public Schools Northern California is seeking teachers to bring purpose to classrooms, designing lessons, analyzing data, and delivering SEL and restorative practices to build an inclusive learning community.

You'll collaborate with Leadership Teams and an Instructional Coach to grow instructional practices while maintaining rigorous expectations and culturally responsive teaching across multiple sites in the Bay Area.

Qualifications

• Hold a BA/BS from a regionally accredited institution.
• Hold a valid teaching credential in the desired subject or eligibility for a teaching permit.
• Eligibility for Provisional Internship Permit or Short Term Staff Permit.
• CPR certification by American Heart Association or American Red Cross is a prerequisite for this permit.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage IEP development in line with state and federal law.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to set measurable annual goals.
• Provide specialized instruction and support via multiple service models.
• Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and inform practice.
• Develop daily and long-term lessons aligned to IEPs and mission.
• Differentiate instruction to meet learner needs across classrooms.
• Train staff to support instruction delivery.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment with restorative practices.
