Job summary

Chipotle is seeking a Facilities Specialist in Louisville to maintain restaurant operations through preventative maintenance and timely repairs. You will supervise facility aspects of restaurant management at the market level and train staff on facility maintenance protocols.

The role requires hands-on experience with carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, and the ability to coordinate with managers and vendors to ensure safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Two years formal or informal training on how to repair and maintain facilities; experience with restaurant equipment, HVAC, electrical, plumbing or appliance repair preferred.
• BA/BS in related field or equivalent with two years’ training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Facilities Manager by supervising facility aspects of restaurant management at the market level.
• Perform facility maintenance and repairs through monthly site visits and analysis of restaurants.
• Formulate preventative maintenance schedules for safe, efficient operation of restaurant facilities (cooking equipment, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration).
• Follow procedures when facilities cease functioning or pose health/safety risks.
• Train managers, crew, and staff on managing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facilities.
