Ohio CAT is seeking a Rental Coordinator at the CAT Rental Store to serve as the primary contact for customers, sales personnel, and other company staff. You will coordinate rental sales/support services and manage reservations to meet branch equipment rental needs.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, multitasking, organization, and clear communication, with potential growth in a dynamic equipment rental environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years’ experience in customer service, preferably in the heavy equipment and/or equipment rental industry.
• Excellent computer skills – MS Office proficiency required.
• Must understand and be able to effectively explain the company’s LDW policy.
• Must understand and be able to effectively communicate equipment applications and key performance specifications.
• Understands usage and applications of all rental equipment and services offered.
• Must have thorough knowledge of “common” equipment failure problems and how to resolve them.
• Must recognize the difference between similar products and the advantages/disadvantages of applications.
• Must have working knowledge of construction phases to properly advise applications.
