Job summary

Ohio CAT Rental Store is seeking a Rentals Coordinator to be the primary contact for customers, sales staff and internal personnel. You will coordinate rental sales and support services for the branch fleet by assessing customer needs and managing reservations.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in customer service, with heavy equipment rental experience, and strong MS Office skills. This role emphasizes clear LDW policy communication and knowledge of equipment applications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years of experience in customer service, preferred in heavy equipment and/or equipment rental.
• Excellent computer skills – proficiency in MS Office required.
• Must understand and explain the LDW policy.
• Must communicate equipment applications and key performance specifications clearly.
• Understand usage and applications of all rental equipment/services offered.
• Knowledge of common equipment failure problems and resolutions.
• Recognize differences between similar products and their advantages/disadvantages.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate rental sales and support services for the branch equipment rental fleet, determining customer rental needs and handling reservations.
• Serve as primary point of contact for customers, sales personnel and other company personnel at the CAT Rental Store.
