Job summary

Ohio CAT Rental Store, a division of Ohio Machinery Co., seeks a Rental Coordinator to be the primary liaison for customers and staff. You will coordinate rental sales, support services and information flow for the equipment fleet, determining rental needs and handling reservations with strong customer service at the core.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of three years in customer service, familiarity with rental operations, and solid MS Office skills; heavy equipment experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three years in customer service; heavy equipment/rental preferred.
• Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Office.
• General knowledge of rental equipment and services offered preferred.

JOB SUMMARY:

This individual will be the primary point of contact for all customers, sales personnel, and other company personnel at the CAT Rental Store. The Rental Coordinator is responsible for coordinating rental sales and support services, communication, and information flow for equipment rental fleet by determining customer rental needs and handling all corresponding rental reservations. Strong customer service will be vital in this position.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in customer service required, preferred experience in the heavy equipment and/or equipment rental industry.
• Excellent computer skills – proficiency in MS Office required.
• General knowledge of rental equipment and services offered preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. Repetitive Motions: Frequent movements requiring the use of hands, wrists, and fingers. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
