Job summary

Summa Health Medical Group in Akron, OH is seeking an experienced Epilepsy Specialist to join the Summa Health Neurology team. You will practice 100% epilepsy care in a mix of clinic and inpatient/EMU settings, leveraging a fully staffed neurophysiology lab and advanced diagnostics.

Ideal candidates are Board Certified/Eligible in Neurology with an Epilepsy fellowship, Ohio license or eligibility, and interest in teaching, research and innovation.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/eligible in neurology for epilepsy practice.
• Completion of an epilepsy fellowship.
• Ohio medical license or eligible to obtain one.
• Interest in teaching, lectures and resident education.
• Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care.

Responsibilities

• Provide 100% epilepsy care in a dedicated program with a neurophysiology lab.
• Collaborate with neurology, neurosurgery, stroke and pediatric teams.
• Engage in teaching and clinical education for residents and fellows.
• Participate in research, innovation and advancement of treatment pathways.
• Contribute to development of epilepsy surgical and diagnostic pathways.
