Summa Health in Akron, OH is seeking an experienced Epilepsy Specialist to join the Summa Health Neurosciences Institute. This role focuses on a 100% epilepsy practice within a comprehensive program that combines neurology, neurophysiology, and advanced diagnostic services.

The candidate should be board certified or eligible in neurology with epilepsy fellowship, and interested in teaching, research and patient-centered, team-based care; opportunities for academic appointment with NEOMED,

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
• Completion of an Epilepsy fellowship.
• Interest in teaching, lectures and resident education.
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered, team-based care.
• Interest in clinical innovation and technology.

Responsibilities

• 100% epilepsy practice with a fully staffed neurophysiology laboratory.
• Collaborate with neurology, neurosurgery and other specialties to advance care.
• Provide leadership in research, education, and clinical programs.
• Participate in multidisciplinary epilepsy treatment pathways and transition care.
