Summa Health Medical Group is seeking an experienced Epilepsy Specialist to join the Summa Health Neurosciences Institute in Akron, Ohio. You will provide 100% epilepsy care in a setting with a fully staffed neurophysiology laboratory and access to advanced diagnostics and surgical options.

The role offers opportunities for research, innovation, and medical education with potential academic appointment with NEOMED, and collaboration across neurology, neurocritical care, and neurosurgery.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/eligible in Neurology required
• Epilepsy fellowship completed preferred
• Interest in teaching and resident education
• Ohio medical license or eligibility required

Responsibilities

• Provide 100% epilepsy care in a mix of clinic and inpatient/EMU settings.
• Collaborate with neurology, neurosurgery, and other specialties to advance program growth.
• Contribute to research, innovation, and medical education within Summa Health Neurosciences Institute.
• Academic appointment with Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) possible for qualified candidates
