Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, OH is seeking an experienced Epilepsy Specialist to join the Summa Health Neurosciences Institute. The role focuses on advanced epilepsy care with access to a broad neurology network and 100% epilepsy practice in a well-supported facility.

Candidates should be board-certified/eligible in neurology, have an epilepsy fellowship, and hold Ohio licensure or eligibility. Academic appointment with NEOMED may be available; signing bonus, relocation, and CME support are offered.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
• Epilepsy fellowship completed or in progress.
• Interest in teaching, lectures and resident education.
• Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in Ohio or ability to obtain Ohio license.
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered, team-based care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive epilepsy care within a mix of clinic and inpatient/EMU settings.
• Collaborate with neurology, neurosurgery, and related services to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in research, innovation and medical education within Summa Health Neurosciences Institute.
