Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, OH seeks an experienced Epilepsy Specialist to join the Neurosciences Institute. You will provide 100% epilepsy care in a mix of clinic and inpatient/EMU settings, with access to a fully staffed neurophysiology laboratory and extensive imaging/lab services.

The role emphasizes collaboration across neurology, neurosurgery, pediatrics, and transitional care, plus opportunities for research, teaching, and NEOMED academic appointments.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible in Neurology with subspecialty interest in epilepsy.
• Completion of an epilepsy fellowship.
• Demonstrated interest in complex epilepsy management and advanced care.

Responsibilities

• Provide epilepsy care in clinic and inpatient settings within the epilepsy program.
• Collaborate with neurology, neurosurgery, and related services to deliver comprehensive care.
• Engage in research, education, and participation in regional epilepsy pathways.
