Sentara Health in Norfolk, VA is seeking an Epic Willow specialist to support Willow Inpatient and Willow Ambulatory applications. This role partners with pharmacy leadership, clinicians, and IT teams to analyze workflows, configure system settings, and implement improvements that enhance medication management and patient safety.

You will test releases, assist with upgrades, and provide day-to-day application support and incident management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Pharmacy, Clinical Discipline, or related field (Required)
• Experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree
• Epic Willow Inpatient and/or Willow Ambulatory Certification (Required)
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant application support, clinical informatics, healthcare IT, or Epic experience with a Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree
• Experience supporting Epic Willow Inpatient and/or Willow Ambulatory applications in a healthcare environment
• Experience analyzing pharmacy workflows and translating business and clinical requirements into system solutions
• Experience with application testing, upgrades, change management, incident management, and system optimization
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, pharmacists, providers, nursing staff, and operational leaders on application enhancements and implementations

Responsabilités

• Support, optimize, maintain, and enhance Epic Willow applications (Willow Inpatient and/or Willow Ambulatory)
• Collaborate with pharmacy leadership, clinicians, operational stakeholders, and IT teams to analyze workflows and implement system improvements
• Evaluate software releases, upgrades, and functionality to improve clinical and business outcomes
• Develop testing plans, manage changes, and support implementation of system enhancements
• Provide application support, incident resolution, and project coordination as a subject matter expert
