Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking an Epic Willow Application Support professional in Norfolk, VA. The role focuses on day-to-day support, optimization, and enhancement of Willow Inpatient and/or Willow Ambulatory systems.

You will collaborate with pharmacy leadership, clinicians, and IT teams to translate workflows into effective system solutions, ensure regulatory compliance, and support safe medication management processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience in information systems, healthcare, pharmacy, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant application support or Epic experience with a Bachelor's Degree.
• Epic Willow Inpatient and/or Willow Ambulatory certification required.
• Experience analyzing pharmacy workflows and translating requirements into system solutions.
• Experience with testing, upgrades, change management, incident management, and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for day-to-day support, optimization, maintenance, and enhancement of Epic Willow applications (Willow Inpatient and/or Willow Ambulatory).
• Collaborate with pharmacy leadership, clinicians, and IT to analyze workflows and implement system improvements.
• Evaluate software releases and upgrades to optimize clinical and business outcomes while ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance.
• Provide application support, incident resolution, change management, and project coordination as SME for Epic Willow.
