Job summary

University Health seeks a Credentialed Epic Trainer to operationalize Epic across campuses in San Antonio. You will lead end-user training, develop approved curriculum, and maintain training schedules and attendee lists, ensuring smooth adoption of new features.

As a skilled trainer, you will conduct group and one-on-one sessions, capture end-user feedback, and communicate improvements to principal trainers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field is required.
• Experience with Epic application systems is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Operationalize Epic across University Health campuses.
• Lead end-user training using approved curriculum.
• Develop training documentation approved by Principal Trainer.
• Maintain Epic Training Class Schedule and attendee lists.
• Facilitate clinician/end-user sessions and one-on-one meetings.
• Provide at-the-elbow support and collect end-user feedback.
• Represent Epic in operational meetings as needed.
• Review enhancements/upgrades and assist in implementation planning.
• Maintain good working relationships with staff and perform other duties.
