Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare in Atlanta, GA seeks a Principal Trainer to serve as the content expert for Epic applications and Piedmont workflows. You will develop and lead the training program and materials, coordinating with other trainers and the Project Manager to align with production environments.

The role involves building training environments, delivering classroom and remote sessions, creating certifications, and providing go-live support to clinicians and staff across Piedmont facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, computer technology or science, or a closely related field is required.
• In lieu of degree, four (4) years of relevant work experience will be accepted in addition to the experience requirement.
• 3 years of progressively responsible professional work experience providing computer-based software training, support, project management, or a closely related field Required or
• In lieu of degree seven (7) years of progressively responsible professional work experience providing computer based software training, support, project management or a closely related field Required
• the appropriate Epic certification be successfully obtained for a specific area of assigned responsibility within 90 Days Required

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the training program and associated training materials for Epic applications in coordination with other Principal Trainers.
• Ensure training meets initial and ongoing needs and supports usability.
• Deliver training through classroom, web-based learning, remote instruction, and one-on-one coaching.
• Maintain training environments to closely match production environments.
• Participate in workflow design and system build to gain in-depth knowledge of system functionality.
