Job summary

ProHealth Physicians, part of the Optum family, seeks an Epic Trainer to deliver training on Epic applications to staff via classroom, online and one-on-one sessions. The role includes go-live coaching, workflow analysis and creation of training materials.

Location is Farmington, CT, with a 40-hour workweek and in-office schedule 4 days per week. Ideal candidates have Epic experience, a healthcare background, strong presentation and communication skills, and willingness to travel up to 50%

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, computer science, information sciences, or related field preferred; experience or alternative degree may be considered in lieu of education.
• High School Diploma / GED.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1+ years of experience working in a healthcare delivery setting, a physician practice.
• Experience in Epic.
• Reliable mode of transportation and valid Driver's license.
• Presentation skills.
• Ability to drive to training locations as needed within the market.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time domestically.
• Skills in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday with flexible shift schedules.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training one-on-one, online or in a classroom.
• Conduct practice site visits and application support for assigned regions, clinical and non-clinical.
• Assist with the development of new training materials.
• Support various ProHealth programs related to Epic Applications.
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, computer science, information sciences, or related field preferred; experience or alternative degree may be considered in lieu of education.
