Job summary

Family Health West seeks an Epic Trainer - Clinical to coach medical assistants, physicians and clinical staff on Epic usage. You will develop and deliver hands-on training, tailor sessions to roles, and work closely with Informatics to refine curricula and workflows.

The role emphasizes on-site training, ongoing coaching, and improving documentation templates, visit prep, and chart review processes across departments.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Epic in a clinical setting.
• Ability to develop and deliver hands-on training.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on Epic training for MAs, physicians, and staff.
• Lead onboarding and ongoing coaching sessions.
• Develop training materials, quick-reference guides and workflow instructions.
• Observe workflows, identify Epic-related challenges, and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with Epic analysts to optimize patient visit workflows.
