Job summary

UnitedHealth Group in Everett, WA is seeking an Epic Trainer to lead Epic training sessions for the Optum Health Networks team. You will prepare, facilitate, and follow up on training, including in-person and virtual classes, while coordinating schedules and leveraging the LMS.

Travel to training sites and flexible hours are required. Ideal candidates have 3+ years Epic experience in a provider setting, 2+ years training experience, strong presentation and interpersonal skills, and the ability

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Epic experience in a provider practice setting and/or equivalent HER/provider practice related training experience.
• 2+ years of training experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate clearly.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
• State issued valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Train Epic applications for new hires, learners participating in Epic Thrive sessions, during bi-annual Epic upgrades.
• Train In-Person and virtual classes.
• Coordinate training scheduling process.
• Monitor and respond to training service ticket requests.
• Support training team with incoming requests and LMS facilitation.
• Participate in Upgrade and Merger and Acquisition projects.
• Travel to training sites as required.
• Serve as training resource for clinical and operations staff.
• Prepare, manage and maintain training classrooms.
