Job summary

You will communicate with physicians, nurses, and staff to support coordinated care and a positive patient experience. Prior front desk or healthcare office experience is preferred; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in health care, medical office, or front desk roles preferred.
• Familiarity with patient registration, scheduling, and insurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient check-in/check-out in EPIC with accuracy and efficiency.
• Verify demographics and insurance, collect co-payments, provide receipts.
• Screen patients for pre-certifications and referrals, explain financial policies.
• Assist patients upon arrival and direct to appropriate clinical areas.
• Support clinicians with paperwork and smooth patient flow.
• Answer and triage calls, coordinating with staff and providers.
• Schedule appointments per clinical and operational needs.
• Document patient information in EPIC for clear communication.
• Reconcile daily payments and balance cash drawer.
• Uphold safety, professionalism, and excellent customer service.
