Sentara Health is seeking a Senior IT Specialty Analyst to support Epic applications across Clinical, Revenue Cycle, and Access areas. You will build configurations, manage upgrades, and assess workflows to improve system utilization.

The role requires 7+ years with Epic reporting tools, strong SQL/Python skills, and a proactive, collaborative mindset. On-site work in Norfolk, VA with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 7+ years of experience with Epic reporting tools.
• Experience with Epic reporting tools, including Reporting Workbench, Radar dashboards, and SlicerDicer self-service reporting.
• Programming experience with SQL, SSIS, R, Python, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with clinical terminology or workflows.
• Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivation, and self-management.
• Excellent collaboration to solve user questions.
• Experience with Epic data analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support, maintenance, and optimization of Epic applications across Clinical, Revenue Cycle, and Access areas.
• Perform system configuration, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Conduct workflow assessments, system testing, and incident/change management.
• Lead smaller projects or components of larger initiatives and guide less-experienced team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and end users to implement releases.
