Job summary

Sentara Health in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Senior IT Specialty Analyst to support and enhance Epic applications across Clinical, Revenue Cycle, and Access. You will manage builds, upgrades, testing, incidents, and software releases, working with cross-functional teams.

Candidates should have 7+ years of Epic reporting experience, proficiency in SQL/SSIS/R/Python, Epic certifications, and a Bachelor’s (or equivalent experience).

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with Epic reporting tools.
• Experience with Epic reporting tools (Reporting Workbench, Radar dashboards, SlicerDicer).
• Programming experience with SQL, SSIS, R, Python, or similar tools.
• Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivation, and self-management.
• Curious and quick to learn, with strong exploratory analysis skills and pride in the quality of work.
• Enjoys collaborating with others to find solutions to their questions.
• Familiarity with clinical terminology or workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support, maintenance, and optimization of Epic applications across Clinical, Revenue Cycle, and Access.
• Handle build/configuration, upgrades, testing, incident and change management, and software release implementations.
• Lead smaller projects or components of larger initiatives and mentor less-experienced team members.
