Job summary

Sentara Health seeks a Senior IT Specialty Analyst to support Epic applications across Clinical, Revenue Cycle, and Access areas in Norfolk, VA. You will build, configure, upgrade, and test Epic modules, perform workflow assessments, and manage incidents and releases.

You may lead small projects and mentor teammates, aligning with organizational goals. The role requires 7+ years' Epic reporting experience, proficiency in SQL/SSIS/R/Python, and familiarity with clinical terminology.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with Epic reporting tools.
• Experience with Epic reporting tools including Reporting Workbench, Radar dashboards, and SlicerDicer.
• Programming experience with SQL, SSIS, R, Python, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with clinical terminology or workflows.
• Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivation, and self-management.
• Curious and quick to learn, with strong exploratory analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support, maintenance, optimization, and enhancement of Epic applications across Clinical, Revenue Cycle, and Access areas.
• Perform build/configuration, upgrades and enhancements, workflow assessments, testing, troubleshooting, incident/change management, and software releases.
• Lead smaller projects or components of larger initiatives and mentor less-experienced team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and end users to address business and clinical needs.
