Job summary

Sentara Health in Norfolk, VA invites a Senior IT Specialty Analyst to own day-to-day support, optimization and enhancement of Epic across Clinical, Revenue Cycle and Access. You will build/configure, test, troubleshoot and manage changes, lead smaller projects, and mentor teammates.

Requirements include 7+ years with Epic reporting tools, Epic certifications, SQL/SSIS/R/Python, and a Bachelor’s degree preferred (or 5+ years with degree / 7+ years without).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 5+ years of relevant experience with a degree; 7+ years of relevant experience without a degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support, maintenance, optimization, and enhancement of Epic applications across Clinical, Revenue Cycle, and Access areas.
• Perform build/configuration, upgrades, testing, incident and change management, and software release implementations.
• Lead smaller projects or components of larger initiatives; mentor less-experienced team members; collaborate with cross-functional teams and end users.
