Job summary

Sentara Health in Norfolk, VA seeks a Senior IT Specialty Analyst to support and optimize Epic applications across Clinical, Revenue Cycle, and Access areas. You will configure builds, manage upgrades, assess workflows, and lead parts of larger Epic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience with a degree.
• 7+ years of relevant experience without a degree.
• Epic certification, accreditation, or proficiency in one or more applicable Epic applications required or preferred based on the specific position.
• Epic data analytics tools are Required: Cogito, Cogito Tools Administration, Caboodle Data Model, Clarity Data Model, Access Data Model, Revenue Data Model, Clinical Data Model.
• Experience with Epic reporting tools, including Reporting Workbench, Radar dashboards, and SlicerDicer self-service reporting.
• 7+ years of experience with Epic reporting tools.
• Programming experience with SQL, SSIS, R, Python, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with clinical terminology or workflows.

Responsibilities

• Support, maintain, optimize, and enhance Epic applications across Clinical, Revenue Cycle, and Access areas.
• Perform application build/configuration, upgrades, and workflow assessments.
• Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, incident/change management, and software release implementation.
• Work independently with limited supervision and partner with cross-functional teams and end users.
• May lead smaller projects or components of larger initiatives.
