Job summary

Riverside Health System in Newport News, VA seeks an Associate iCare Applications Analyst to support the development, maintenance, and upgrade of the Epic electronic medical record system. The role requires investigating and documenting current and future state processes, ensuring smooth integration between clinical/business practice and the Epic application.

The Analyst will work as part of a team, participate in configuration and implementation, and provide on-call support on a rotating basis

Qualifications

2 years in healthcare IT/operations or IT support.
Epic experience as an end user or credentialed trainer is preferred.

Responsibilities

Build, maintain, and optimize one Epic application.
Investigate, analyze, and document current and future state processes for successful Epic integration.
Develop knowledge of the Epic application and provide clinical/operational advice in design, programming, testing, and implementation.
Coordinate issues across the project lifecycle including design, implementation and long-term support.
Participate in system configuration and implementation, including ongoing maintenance and training on functionality.
Assist with evaluating solutions, post-implementation changes, and support users with workflow changes.
Develop report specifications and coordinate with report writers to meet operational and regulatory reporting requirements.
