Job summary

Riverside Health in Newport News, Virginia is seeking an iCare Trainer/Analyst responsible for design, development, deployment, and maintenance of all training for the iCare EHR. This role requires certification in iCare applications and collaboration with iCare Analysts, project teams, and credentialed trainers to ensure effective end-user training.

You will stay current with Epic updates, deliver trainings, create materials, and participate in workflow testing during upgrades.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, CIIS, Informatics, IT or related field is required.
Epic Certification in at least one application area within 180 days (required).
6 years of progressive healthcare experience in IDN environments preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop knowledge of iCare applications and infrastructure to support project needs.
Stay updated on Epic User Web developments.
Provide technical and clinical/operational expertise.
Communicate system functionality and capabilities; identify alternatives to meet needs.
Determine if issues are application, technical, or training related.
Gather and organize incident information and follow up through resolution.
Maintain training materials and Learning Management System for iCare applications.
