Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a senior product owner to lead the Epic platform and related informatics tools. You will own the product lifecycle, partner with clinical, technical, and operational teams, and translate complex needs into actionable requirements for Epic-based solutions.

Qualifications

7–10 years of relevant work experience in product management and healthcare informatics.
Deep Epic expertise, including hands‑on experience with Epic software, modules, and tools.
Ability to deliver complex healthcare technology projects on time and within scope.
Proven leader; comfortable driving strategic decisions, owning outcomes, and coordinating resources.
Highly collaborative; excel at communicating with senior stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
Data‑driven mindset; use data to measure product impact and guide decisions.
Adept at problem solving, collaboration, and execution.
Proficient in translating data into actionable business insights and driving adoption of clinical technology.

Responsibilities

Acts as the product owner for Epic and informatics solutions across the product lifecycle.
Owns end‑to‑end lifecycle for Epic tools and workflows, including vendor evaluations for buy vs. build.
Creates features, stories, and workflows based on clinical insights and CX needs.
Translates strategic goals into actionable product requirements and project plans.
Partners with business, clinical, and operational teams to align product vision with organizational objectives.
Coordinates with engineering, data science, integration, and architecture teams in an agile process.
Develops risk/issue logs and manages escalation and resolution.
Leads cross‑functional meetings with clear agendas and accountability.
Delivers executive reporting on status, risks, and decisions needed.
Develops testing procedures and governance for Epic assessments.
Supports readiness, adoption, and feedback loops for Epic releases.
Assists in recruiting and developing product and informatics talent.
