Job summary

Ellit Group is seeking an experienced Epic eLearning Principal Trainer for a nine‑month engagement. You will lead assessment, redesign, development, and validation of digital Epic training content for online learning, ensuring accuracy and scalability across end users across healthcare settings.

The ideal candidate brings extensive Epic training experience, strong instructional design background, and a proven track record creating online learning programs within complex healthcare environments.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Epic Principal Trainer or senior Epic trainer.
• Experience rebuilding, redesigning, or converting Epic curriculum for eLearning and online delivery.
• Strong track record developing digital learning modules, simulations, assessments, and end-user training materials.
• Knowledge of Epic workflows, training environments, and curriculum development processes.
• Experience evaluating curriculum to improve usability, consistency, and learner engagement.
• Understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and eLearning development best practices.
• Ability to translate complex system workflows into clear, concise learning content.
• Experience collaborating with application analysts, SMEs, operational stakeholders, and project leadership.
• Excellent written communication, editing, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deliverables and meet deadlines within a nine-month engagement.
• Experience in healthcare IT environments.

Responsibilities

• Assess existing Epic training curriculum and identify opportunities for improvement and online conversion.
• Rebuild and modernize Epic curriculum for digital and self-paced learning.
• Design, develop, and maintain engaging eLearning modules, simulations, assessments, and job aids.
• Apply adult learning principles and instructional design best practices.
• Partner with Epic teams, SMEs, and operational leaders to validate content.
• Translate complex Epic workflows into clear learning materials.
• Ensure content remains accurate and aligned with workflows and standards.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews of curriculum and materials.
• Manage multiple curriculum development priorities and deadlines.
• Incorporate stakeholder feedback into revisions.
• Support curriculum testing, review cycles, and approvals.
• Maintain documentation and version control.
