Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Epic EHR Development Lead to guide the design, configuration, development, and optimization of Epic solutions across clinical, operational, and revenue cycle domains.

This role provides technical and functional leadership for Epic application development, integrations, and enhancements while ensuring alignment with clinical workflows, organizational strategy, regulatory requirements, and Epic best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of Epic EHR experience, including hands-on build and configuration.
• 3+ years in a lead, senior analyst, or supervisory role supporting Epic systems.
• Active Epic certification(s) in one or more Epic modules.
• Strong understanding of healthcare clinical workflows and operations.
• Experience leading complex Epic projects or large-scale implementations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Epic analysts, developers, and configuration teams across assigned Epic modules.
• Oversee Epic application build, configuration, and customization across modules.
• Guide development and support of Epic integrations (HL7, FHIR, Bridges, APIs).
• Translate clinical and operational needs into technical Epic solutions.
• Monitor system performance, data integrity, and user adoption metrics.
