Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Epic EHR Development Lead to drive design, configuration, and optimization of Epic solutions across clinical, operational, and revenue cycle domains.

You will lead analysts and developers, ensuring Epic work aligns with workflows, regulatory standards, and best practices, while partnering with stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality Epic solutions that enhance patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of Epic EHR experience including hands-on build and configuration.
• 3+ years in a lead, senior analyst, or supervisory role supporting Epic systems.
• Active Epic certification(s) in one or more modules.
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operations.
• Experience leading complex Epic projects or large-scale implementations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Epic analysts, developers, and configuration teams across modules.
• Serve as escalation point for Epic development issues and governance.
• Align Epic development with clinical workflows and strategy.
• Oversee Epic build, configuration, and customization across modules.
• Guide Epic integrations and data exchange with HL7, FHIR, and APIs.
• Support testing strategies and oversee upgrades and patches.
• Translate clinical needs into technical Epic solutions and go-lives.
