Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Epic EHR Development Lead to steer design, configuration, development, and optimization of Epic EHR solutions across clinical, operational, and revenue cycle domains. The role provides technical and functional leadership for Epic development, integrations, and enhancements while aligning with clinical workflows and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, or related field
7+ years of Epic EHR experience including hands-on build and configuration
3+ years in a lead or supervisory role supporting Epic systems
Active Epic certification(s) in one or more Epic modules
Strong understanding of healthcare clinical workflows and operations
Experience leading complex Epic projects or large-scale implementations
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor Epic analysts, developers, and configuration teams across Epic modules
Serve as primary technical and functional escalation point for Epic development issues
Define and enforce Epic development standards, guidelines, and governance
Partner with informatics and IT leadership to align Epic development with strategy
Oversee Epic integration, upgrades, patches, and changes
Translate clinical needs into technical Epic solutions
Support go-lives, stabilization, and post-implementation optimization
Monitor performance, data integrity, and user adoption
